Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

At Nostos, we offer gentle chiropractic care and decompression therapy for better posture, wellness, injury recovery and pain reduction. Our athletic therapist offers manual therapies, ultrasound, electrical stimulation and conditioning training. We also have a massage therapist who does incredible work with myofascial release, various massage techniques and even uses cupping.

Do you have any unique services?

Dr. Sean has taken advanced training in animal chiropractic and offers chiropractic care for dogs. Dr. Matteo and Josee (our athletic therapist) have completed the Complete Concussion Management program through CCMI and offer specialty plans for concussion rehabilitation. Additionally we offer spinal decompression therapy.

What is your approach?

We see the effects of poor posture every day. We know that posture changes the way we look, function and feel, and we're committed to helping our community achieve better health through better posture. Dr. Sean and Dr. Matteo have both completed the "Certified Posture Expert" program through the American Posture Institute. Poor posture leads to imbalances in the body, which in turn can lead to symptoms and pain. We put a massive emphasis on postural correction.

Do you work with kids?

Kids today are faced with massive challenges to their posture based on excessive amounts of tech time. We love to work with kids and help them make changes to their posture. After all, kids with bad posture will turn into adults with bad posture.

How much does it cost?

The initial consultation and exam is $240 (this includes any necessary x rays), regular adjustment visits are $60 and decompression therapy is $44 per session. You can see a full breakdown of our prices here.

What chiropractic techniques
do you offer?

We use a variety of techniques to make the adjustment, including blair upper cervical technique, activator and special instruments, dropbtable, and specialty blocks. While many people associate chiropractic with adjustments that cause a popping or clicking sound, our techniques do not cause any popping or clicking. In fact, many people comment that the adjustments are extremely comfortable.

Do you offer direct billing to insurance/benefits?

We don't offer direct billing, however we can provide a receipt at each visit for reimbursement from your insurance provider.

How long will it take to
solve my problem?

We know that every case is completely unique. That's why at your initial consultation we will take you through a thorough exam which includes a complete posture analysis, functional movement assessment, case-specific orthopedic evaluation, chiropractic spinal exam, and can take on-site x-rays based on our findings. We share all these results with you and use the information gathered to come up with a plan to help you reach your health goals.
