Dr. Olivier Barre, One Hand Acupuncturist

Dr. Olivier began practicing in 2014 after completing his studies at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. His passion for acupuncture started early — as a child, he struggled with digestive issues, and acupuncture offered real relief without relying on medication. That experience inspired him to learn how it worked so he could help others in the same way.

Known as “The One-Hand Acupuncturist,” Dr. Olivier uses a creative mix of techniques and tools to support each patient’s unique needs. He loves helping people with pain, muscle injuries, fertility, and anti-aging concerns.

When he’s not treating patients, you’ll often find Dr. Olivier on the tennis court or in the kitchen baking his signature flan pâtissier and healthy tarts — which he often shares with the team at the clinic!

Izzy Stirling, Clinic Assistant

Izzy joined Nostos in January and quickly discovered her passion for helping people feel seen and cared for. With a background in retail, she realized that customer service is where she truly belongs — and as a receptionist, she gets to make people smile every day.

Her priority is making sure every visitor feels welcome and supported, especially those who have struggled to find a healthcare space they can trust.

Izzy loves collecting sentimental items — from holiday cards to little keepsakes — and treasures them all in scrapbooks and around her space. For her, these mementos are little reminders of joy and connection.
