Artisan's Corner at Nostos

Are you looking for a space to sell your hand-crafted goods?
We want to support our local makers and have space for you to do that!

The Artisan's Corner at Nostos is a community building initiative to support local artists and crafters!

We have space to display and sell your work in our clinic! Space is being offered in 2 and 4 week intervals. We will take care of all the billing and payment transactions. You just need to price, label and drop off your work!

There is no rental fee for this space. At the end of your term, you will get paid out for 80% of all collections. GST will be provided if you provide a business number and GST number. 

Applicant Guidelines:

  • Apply for the Artisan's Corner by filling out the form. 

  • Please include a headshot and photos of at least three examples of your work (we will use them to make promotional material). 

  • Applicants are evaluated and selected based on the type and quality of their work. If selected, we will offer you available times.

  • This initiative is to support local talent- we will not consider vendors who have ordered bulk product through outside sources.

  • Examples of vendors we are looking for: ceramics/pottery, glass, painting and drawing, high quality photography prints, jewelry, knitted/crocheted work, local authors and storybook illustrators, custom pet products, fashion, wood products, metalwork, ...

If Selected:

  • We will offer you available times.

  • You are welcome to decorate our shelving with props, however products must displayed on our shelves (we don't have space for additional tables or shelves).  

  • Please prepare an Excel document detailing all pieces and prices (template will be provided).

  • ​A $100 deposit will be collected to hold your spot. This will be returned to you at the start of your term (return of deposit will not be granted for cancellations of less than 1 week or no-shows for your allotted time). 

  • If selling things like prints/postcards, pieces should be individually wrapped.

  • All pieces should be priced. This could be a price tag on every individual piece, or color coded dots with a pricing legend.

  • We will create branded social media posts to share with you. We ask that you help us promote your sale by sharing those posts and others that you create. 

  • So far, we have not had anything broken or stolen from our Artisan's Corner, and we do not enforce a "You Break It, You Buy It" policy.

Agreements and Important Details

I agree that I will be paid 80% of all collections from this sale at the end of the sale term and that I will only be paid GST if I provide a registered Business/GST Number. Payment will come as an etransfer.
